Greater Houston Area Home Educators was started in 1994 as a way for home educators to communicate in the Greater Houston Area. It has grown to over 1,400 families with members sending info to the over 100 support groups in the Houston area.  We get the word out about Homeschool Events.

Our Mission:

Greater Houston Area Home Education will bring people together and allow you to meet people you would not ordinarily know. This site is set up to help home education in and around Houston:
  1.  to learn about new techniques for accomplishing our goal of educating our children;
  2. to find answers to your quandries in your day to day efforts to educate your children; and
  3. to share information about home education in and around Houston.

Community News

From rock climbing, teen events, skating, bowling, the upcoming Basketball Tournament, and the many graduations in the Houston area this Spring, G-HAH is on top of communications in the Houston Home Education Community.
